“We wanted to be part of a community like traditional neighborhoods used to be,” Rachel said. 

The Kaufman’s said they had purchased new homes in the Rocklin area before, but have never felt like there was an opportunity to build neighborhood relationships like there is at Whitney Ranch.  Residents of Whitney Ranch, they said, seem to get outside their front doors and into the community.  

Rachel said she often sees people walking or jogging on the trails, riding bikes, playing at the park, and relaxing in front of the fire at the Ranch House community center. 

The family purchased a home in Sierra Sky, built by Shea Homes.  They said they enjoy the open floor plan the home provides for entertaining and family gatherings. 

The Kaufman's love for Whitney Ranch goes beyond the strong neighbor relationships.  They enjoy walking to the numerous parks nearby and are looking forward to using the pool at the Ranch House in the summer!
