Whitney Ranch Scouting Troop’s enjoy lots of activities
It has been a busy year for the Whitney Ranch Scouting troops! We have three troops that meet during the school year - Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. The Girl Scout troop began a couple of years ago as a Brownie Troop and last year bridged to the Girl Scouts. They have earned many badges this year including cooking (which they did in the Lounge at the Ranch House) and pet care to name just a few. The Girl Scouts ended their season with a pool party at the Ranch House to celebrate all their accomplishments.
The Boy Scouts have also been busy. In addition to their regular duties and badge accomplishments they assisted the community during the May community garage sale. They handed out maps for people to find participating homes and held a canned food drive to assist the Placer Food Bank.
